I just want to take a moment to recognize the amazing service I’ve received from Emily and Rosie at Downey Pizza Company. Every time I’ve come in, they’ve gone above and beyond to make sure everything is perfect — from their warm welcome when you walk in, to remembering small details about orders, to the genuine care they put into their service. They make the atmosphere feel friendly and inviting, and they’re the kind of employees who clearly take pride in what they do. In a world where great customer service is rare, Emily and Rosie truly stand out. Honestly, they are a big reason why I keep coming back here, and I believe they deserve recognition — and honestly, a raise. Employees like them are what make this place such a gem in Downey. Highly recommend this spot, and huge thank you to Emily and Rosie for always making the experience top-notch!

Very friendly staff and quick service. Table was not wiped from last guests, the plates were not washed, still has grease and bits of tomato sauce. We decided to power through. Half cheese, half meats large pizza not bad on price, but smaller sizes were pricey. Pizza was delicious! Glad we stayed after dirty booth and plates (we ate on the napkins).

They serve one of the best deep-dish pizzas I’ve had in LA County. The crust is buttery and flaky, and they load on the cheese and toppings. Service is quick, and the servers are friendly even when it’s busy. It’s a little hidden in a strip mall, but well worth finding. I’ll be coming back whenever I’m craving Chicago-style pizza

Plus,, They even had My Favorite Beer: Heineken .. I,, order the ALL MEAT Pizza ,, & ΩMFG!!!!!! (( Food of the Gods !!!)) This Particular MASTERPIECE Pizza ,, is Soooooooo Freaking Gooood ,, that I burned The Top of My Mouth,, Noooo LIES... (( I, should have waited,, until it Kool Down.... lol ))... Overall,, I have been Around some Good And Great Pizza Places that has Come and Gone: St.George,, Rios Pizza near ELAC, Hometown Buffet @Bell,,Etc,Etc But This Place is GOLDEN,, Definitely Worth the WAIT in Line,, and Once Inside Plenty of Room,, Lots of Plasma tvs to watch the Gsmes: MLB, NFL, FIFA, & NBA..!!! I, will Absolutely be Going back Again, when Ever I get some More COINS As, My Ailing Beloved MOM, wants to taste this Particular Pizza Place,, that I was Sooo FULL,, I couldn't Eat the Following Day.... We went to this place that a co-worker recommended to my husband. We ordered the pastrami pizza over the phone, and it was ready when we got there. The place looks nice they have a bar, and the atmosphere has a good vibe. The pizza was really good l, I was not sure if I would like a pastrami pizza! We loved it and will come back to this place and try something else.
